Already for the fourth time in 2013 the coveted LEADERS OF THE YEAR award by Rolling Pin was awarded to 17 pioneers and visionaries of the Austrian hotel and gastronomy industry: Thus the crème de la crème of the Austrian gastronomy and hotel industry met on 25 November in Gerers Teatro in Vienna to award the best of the best of their industry. The competition was tough, but, in the end, the Romantik Hotel GMACHL won the race in the category “Best Employer”.

GMACHL trainees on the road to success!
Our hotel and catering assistant Lea-Marie Maislinger came in a great 9th place at the state championships 2016 despite being in her second year and having to face her competitors in the 3rd year of training. We keep our fingers crossed for 2017!
In the cooking field, Anna Wührer secured a very good 6th place at the 2016 state championships and Michael Friesinger won silver at the competition at the state vocational school in Obertrum.
Patricia Fangl achieved an excellent third place in the service field and joined the podium. With that, she qualified for the national championships, where she sensationally won GOLD.
We thank our trainers and congratulate our great trainees wholeheartedly on their excellent achievements!
