Silent Night route
Cycle from the GMACHL to Anthering and continue to the Lokalbahn train station. The train takes you and your bike to the stop “Obenrdorf Bahnhof”. Turn right out of the access road and tackle the brief ascent to Göming. A round tour of approx. 26 km now awaits you through Arnsdorf with the Silent Night Museum, Lamprechtshausen, Bürmoos and St. Georgen with a stage through the landscape conservation area of Irlacher Au and back to Oberndorf along the Salzach river, with a brief stop at the Silent Night Chapel. It commemorates the site where the world-famous Christmas carol was first performed in 1818.
Tannberg round tour
This family lour leads you through the heart of the lake district in about three hours. Bike through Köstendorf and Lengau to Lochen and Mattsee, where you leisurely cycle along the east side of the lake and past the three Egelsee lakes.
