By car
The best way to reach Romantic Hotel GMACHL is via the A1 motorway. Take the exit “Salzburg Nord” in the direction of Braunau / Bergheim / Trumer Seengebiet, then follow federal road 156 (“Lamprechtshausener Straße”). A useful landmark is a large “Intersport Eybl” store you will see on the right. After roughly 1km you will reach a roundabout – continue straight towards “Mattseer Landesstraße”. You will reach Elixhausen after roughly 4km. Romantic Hotel GMACHL is located in the centre of the village.
Follow "Vogelweiderstraße" into "Salzburger Bundesstraße" and further on into federal road 156 ("Lamprechtshausener Straße"). See above for further directions from here.
Please remember that a motorway toll sticker ("Vignette") is required for all Austrian motorways.
By train
Countless regional, long-distance and express trains can get you to the main train station of Salzburg easily and swiftly. From there bus line 120 takes you directly to the centre of Elixhausen in 20min. The ticket price is roughly EUR 2.10 per person. Romantic Hotel GMACHL is located in the centre of the village.
