Events in Salzburg

Salzburg's musical history is reflected in the Salzburg Felsivals, which are performed every year at Easter, Pentecost, and in August. The "landmark" of the summer festival is the performance of "Jedermann" - by now a world famous play. Countless music lovers come  to enjoy these special musical treats each year.

Salzburg is also worth a visit in the fall and and in winter, especially because of the Christmas markets.
